He has been in the profession of astrology for nearly 40 years now. He has the distinction of being member of Film Censor Board (under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting) from 1990 to 1994. He was also serving as special director from 1995 to 2010 on Board for Industrial Financial Reconstruction (BIFR — under Ministry of Finance).
