About me

I am Dr B. Chakrapani and I belong to a family of astrologers, inherited from our forefathers because we are a traditional family of priests. I am also a practicing Vedic Astrologer - professionally as a consultant ever since 1997, thereby accumulating more than 25+ years of practical experience. I did my MA in Astrology from Telugu University and successfully completed PhD in Remedies in Astrology as well as second PhD in Medical Astrology, both from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. I received Gold Medals two times, awarded directly by the Hon’ble President of India. I am on the panel of consultants for institutions like ISRO, DRDO and a consultant astrologer for several astro magazines and astro websites, worldwide. I hold several awards in recognition of my services and my vast knowledge in astrology, like: Jyotish Acharya, Jyotisha Martanda, Jyotish Visharada, Astro Vidya Sagar, VarahaMihira Jyotish Puraskar etc. In addition, I am also awarded with several international awards like: Indo American Vastu Sashtra Award, US Global Excellence Award, International Certified Consultant, Lifetime Achievement Award and an Honorary PhD in the field of Medical Astrology – just to name a few.

I have submitted a total of 87 research papers out of which 83 have been approved and I also applied for patent rights for

(a) modern predictive techniques using vedic astrology; and

(b) remedial measures in Medical Astrology using prashna marga.

Presently, I am working on publishing few books based on classical texts combined with my own research work, so that my knowledge can be useful for future generations.
